Mobile visual inspection in protoyping.

Documentation of visually inspected features in prototyping. A tablet should be used to communicate with the master computer in order to receive the current processing status of the product. Depending on the processing status, different features are to be documented and evaluated with the tablet camera.

By using a rugged tablet and an individually developed Windows app, DMCs of products can be scanned and their processing status can be queried on the master computer. Using type data, various features to be checked can be created depending on the product and processing status. During the check, the user evaluates the feature as OK. or not ok and documents this with a photo. The images are automatically named and stored on a previously set network drive. The solution is extremely flexible and guarantees quality assurance even in prototyping – in which devices and features to be tested change quickly.
